Adult children often become the unpaid technology department. Care Circle is the alternative: the older adult remains the member, a trusted person can request help with permission, and RingMyTech keeps one calm next step instead of a tangle of texts.
The private sign-in page stays separate from this explanation. Members open it from Open Care Circle after they use the email on the membership.
What the member controls
The member sees their care plan, recent support, and upcoming Technology Wellness touchpoints. They choose who is in the Circle. They decide which care summaries may be shared. Billing details and private session notes are not automatically shared with family.
What an approved family contact can do
An approved trusted contact can request help, call RingMyTech, or ask for a follow-up, within the permission the member set. They do not become the owner of the accounts, the passwords, or the membership. Family Care includes Care Circle access for one authorized family contact. Other plans can still start with a family welcome call. Ask us which fit matches the household before you assume a feature is included.
How a request moves
A request moves from received, to connecting, to helping, to all set. The point of those words is that a family can see whether someone is already handling the printer or the pop-up, instead of three siblings all calling the parent.
What Care Circle is not
It is not secret monitoring. It is not a medical record. It is not a way for a relative to take over banking. It is not available to anyone who merely knows the member's email address. Access uses the membership email and a time-limited sign-in link. A four-digit call-in PIN is created inside Care Circle for phone verification. RingMyTech will not ask for that PIN by email or text.
How this fits Technology Wellness
Care Circle is the Support part of the Technology Wellness framework: a known place to turn, with the member still in charge. Families who want the longer how-to should read Helping an aging parent with technology and then come back here when they are ready to organize the people around that help.
Help a parent with technology
If your parent does not have a membership yet, start with a welcome call. If they do, they can open Care Circle with the email on the account.
