People search for tech support when something is already stuck: a phone that will not send photos, a computer full of warnings, a parent who cannot join a doctor's video visit. The useful response is a person who can hear the problem in ordinary words.
RingMyTech is not a walk-in repair counter and not an office IT desk. Help is by phone, video, and remote session when the member asks for it. The first welcome call is free.
What this support is for
Everyday technology: smartphones, tablets, computers, email, passwords, Wi-Fi, printers, smart TVs, video calls, online forms, and the settings that make text readable. Members can also ask about a message or pop-up before they click.
- Technology help for seniors who want a person, not a script
- Computer help for seniors when a task is stuck
- Smartphone help for seniors, including larger text and fewer apps on the home screen
- Patient tech support for older adults who do not want to feel rushed
- Senior technology assistance for families who live in different states
How a support call goes
You call (888) 981-TECH or book a time. We ask what you were trying to do. If seeing the screen would help, we explain remote access first and wait for a yes. You can watch, and you can end the session. Passwords stay yours to type whenever that is possible.
Help requests are accepted anytime. Plan details, including how many calls Basic Care includes, are on the membership page.
What we will not ask you to do
We will not ask for a Social Security number, Medicare number, full banking password, gift card, bank account number, or full credit card number. We will not continue a remote session after you say stop. Payment for RingMyTech is through the membership or session you chose, not through a code read over the phone.
If someone else calls and demands those things, hang up. The checks are in Before you let anyone remotely access your computer.
